It is ideal for making smokey eyes and can be used in place of an eye primer, before applying eye shadow, to give it depth and intensity. It is applied generously around the eye. Then blend it in until it is translucent for an artistic and mysterious blur. Very refined, especially when you play with the whole palette of false blacks: midnight blue, anthracite, dark green, deep violet, or metallic tones: silver, bronze, gold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the many ways to work a smokey eye, I really like this one, which takes only 5 minutes to do. It’s very quick and effective, and super easy to do. A touch of colour, like here purple, and a hint of silver, mixed with black, gives more relief and intrigue.
